A race to the finish line for the final six apprentices
With the second task of The Insurance Apprentice 2016 done and dusted, the race to the finish line for the final six apprentices has now begun as we witnessed the second apprentice’s elimination.
With pressure on, the apprentices continue to face hurdles as they continue with the final three tasks.
In the fourth episode of The Insurance Apprentice 2016, viewers see the apprentices headed to the boardroom where Judge Theo, and his fellow panel members Vuyo Lee and guest judge Thokozile Ntshiqa, Sasria Executive Manager: Stakeholder Management, deliberated on the third task and their expectations of the assigned teams.
The third task, sponsored by Sasria, saw the apprentices faced with a completely different task as they put on their thinking caps to develop a product for a very specific target market.
As these creative minds came together, the apprentices set off to develop a product that covers spaza shop owners. Readers get a glimpse of their skilful persuasion at play.
As Ntshiqa and Lee paced the room and interacted with the apprentices, discussions took place and questions were asked.
Hours later, the apprentices presented their suggestions to the ‘Board of Sasria’, as the judges sat in and listened. Did uncertainty within these groups affect their winning strategy?
Team one, known as Strike It Right Consultants consisted of Alicia Narainsamy, Andre Brooks and Chris Caalsen. And team two, known as Thusa Sechaba, consisted of Celina Bhima, Karabo Kopeka and Unathi Ntengo.
Did they win the judges over? Which team won?
