Voting for The Insurance Apprentice contestants has now closed. Keep an eye out as we will reveal the final 8 apprentices for season 2 of The Insurance Apprentice shortly.

The Insurance Apprentice, which launched in July 2014, is a ‘reality type’ series competition in which people working in any part of the short-term insurance industry, who are younger than 35, are given a chance to complete various insurance related tasks while being filmed. This five day learning experience is filled with curve balls, a pinch of fun and an element of mystery all while completing these tasks that are ultimately judged by an expert panel.

There are a few misconceptions about the insurance industry and the kinds of careers it can offer. Many misconceive it to be about cold calling clients, door to door selling of life or car insurance or processing boring paperwork when in fact it is the very opposite. An insurance career can offer stability, variety, challenges, rewards, above average potential for advancement and the opportunity for individuals to take their career where they want to go.

This initiative is about educating the young at heart, including students and the wider audience, about the variety of career options available in the industry and we hope that this has inspired our youngest, brightest individual talent to enter for the next round.

To make this series possible, we have sponsors who support us whole heartedly. This industry first would not have been possible without our sponsors, and we are grateful in many ways for each of them.
