Meet the Winner of Season 8
Christelle Odendaal
The competition, according to Odendaal, is well put together and the challenges are truly challenging – which is a good thing. “It is also fair.”
“My fellow contestants were fierce competition, and I have learned a lot from each of them, personally. We, in a sense, became family. The judges were very knowledgeable. I must say, however, that Judge Dread is in fact not as bad as people make him out to be… Nox on the other hand is quite scary. The challenges were a good variety of some difcult ones and some not so difficult ones, but all of them were unique and got you to think differently about the industry we work in daily. It challenges you to look for and find new and innovative ways to solve current issues,” added Odendaal.
“Right at the beginning, I did not have a clear strategy, and I just wanted to give it my best shot and be myself always. Towards the end, my strategy was to keep it simple, and to believe in what I was about to present about –that way, the presentation was authentic and honest. If you do your best, you will know it” she continued.
